On Monday mornings, we have ditched the library for now in favour of going for a walk/play with some of our homeschooling friends. Its a small group but the kidlets are all around about the same age and the mummies have very similar interests in life so we exercise and talk — which is a win/win in my book.
Xave will not go on the ride at the shop or slide down slides at the playground (willingly) but he is not afraid to climb. Higher and higher, he likes to announce that he is taller than daddy or that he can touch the sky. Yes my darling. I hope you are never afraid to go high and touch your sky. Shoot for the stars. Live how you want no matter what anyone says. You can do anything. Oh Darling — lets be adventurers!
Not to be outdone by her brother, this little miss is quite the climber herself — if not more so. There seems to be some mechanism in her legs that just never shuts off. Even when she sleeps, she is a mover and a shaker (I should know, since most nights she is wriggling on one side of me while her brother is wriggling on the other…it sure doesn’t feel like much sleeping goes on in our family bed…). When she is awake — which is often — she is constantly on the move.
Parenting these littles is not for the faint hearted!
